Mini-LED displays are better than OLED screens in contrast, color reproduction and power consumption. In addition, they are thinner and do not require the use of a substrate. Due to this, new Apple devices can become thinner and lighter.
The most important advantage of mini-LED displays is the use of more than 10,000 LEDs. For comparison, the most advanced OLED screens currently use up to 576 LEDs. Each led in mini-LED screens has a minimum size of less than 200 microns.
